Privacy Policy
This policy explains how VPNUnit handles account details, transaction information, and website usage data when providing cross-border access and network acceleration subscriptions. Data is processed only as needed to provide the service, protect account security, and meet necessary obligations. The no-logs approach applies to network activity; it does not mean account and order records are never retained.
Account and Order Information
VPNUnit does not require an email address. An account can be created with a username and password, and no registration email is requested. The account system processes usernames, credentials used to verify logins, and subscription status to authenticate users, deliver subscriptions, and manage access. Do not include personal information unrelated to the service in your username or support tickets.
Order records include the selected plan, order amount, payment status, transaction identifiers, and refund handling details. They are used to confirm entitlements, reconcile accounts, and resolve disputes. When a user submits a support ticket, this service processes the issue description and any attachments they choose to provide. Please cover passwords, login credentials, and subscription links before submitting screenshots.
No-Logs Policy and Operational Information
VPNUnit follows a no-logs policy: it does not record which websites users visit, retain browsing content, visited URLs, or DNS query history, or create network activity profiles linked to accounts. Connection logs that could be used to trace an individual’s network activity are not retained, including links between source and destination addresses or per-connection timelines.
During connection setup, essential session state is used only for transmission and connection management. It is not kept as a historical connection log after the session ends. Plan data usage is used for billing and entitlement management and does not include destinations visited. Operational maintenance may use aggregated fault information, but it is not expanded into individual browsing records.
Cookies and Local Storage
The website and user panel may use cookies or local storage to retain login status, language preferences, and essential interface settings. Login credentials are used to verify identity with account interfaces. Logging out or clearing site data in your browser removes the corresponding local state; you may need to log in again afterward.
Website analytics help assess page visits, referral sources, and button usage to improve content and workflows. They are not used to record browsing activity during network acceleration connections. Analytics may involve the pages visited, referral sources, and browser environment. You can restrict cookies and site storage in your browser settings, but some account features may be affected.
Payments and Disclosure of Information
This service supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payments are processed by the relevant third-party payment provider or network, which handles information needed for the transaction under its own rules. VPNUnit uses order-linked information and payment results to verify receipt of funds. Users are not asked to provide payment account passwords in support tickets.
Account information is not shared with unrelated parties or sold, except as needed to complete transactions, perform necessary technical processing, or meet applicable legal obligations. If a third party is needed to assist with processing, the information shared is limited to what the task requires. Services provided directly by third parties are governed by their own privacy policies.
Data Retention and Deletion Requests
Account information is retained while the account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service. Order, refund, and dispute records are retained as needed to process transactions and meet applicable legal requirements. Support tickets and analytics are retained only as long as needed for support, review, or analysis, then deleted or de-identified. This policy does not set a uniform retention period without a basis.
After logging in, users can request access to, correction of, or deletion of account information through a user panel support ticket, specifying the scope of the request. This service will first verify account ownership. Deletion may affect subscription access. Records that must be retained by law or relate to unresolved disputes will be restricted to necessary uses, and the reason they cannot yet be deleted will be explained. Backup data is cleared as backups are rotated.
Security and Policy Updates
VPNUnit uses bank-grade encryption as a security measure and restricts access to account information. Encryption does not replace the need for users to safeguard their passwords and subscription credentials. If you notice an unusual login or compromised credentials, change your password and request assistance through a support ticket.
Policy changes will be published on this page, and the date at the top will be updated. Material changes to processing purposes, information covered, or user rights will be announced on the website or user panel. Matters requiring consent by law will be handled as applicable. Privacy questions and rights requests can be submitted through a user panel support ticket. See the Terms of Service for rules on using the service.
